About the Role

Moove AV's success depends on strong, well-run partnerships with the autonomous vehicle technology companies we work alongside. The Director of Partnerships owns this relationship end to end — acting as the primary point of contact between Moove AV and our AV partner's organization, negotiating commercial terms, and managing the contracts, requests, and day-to-day issues that come with a fast-moving, high-stakes partnership.

This is a newly created, high-visibility role reporting directly to Moove AV's CEO. You'll need to be equally comfortable in a negotiation, a contract redline, and a hallway conversation — building trust with partner counterparts while protecting Moove AV's interests.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serve as Moove AV's primary relationship owner for our autonomous vehicle technology partner, managing the day-to-day commercial and operational relationship
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and agreements that balance Moove AV's needs with our partner's, and keep them current as the partnership evolves
• Act as the escalation point for partnership issues — operational, contractual, or relational — and drive them to resolution
• Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Operations to make sure Moove AV meets its contractual obligations and surfaces partner requirements internally
• Track partnership health and performance against agreed objectives, and report progress and risks to executive leadership
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with partner counterparts, including regular in-person engagement
• Identify opportunities to expand or deepen the partnership as Moove AV scales, and evaluate potential new strategic partnerships
• Represent Moove AV professionally and consistently in every partner interaction

What You'll Need for This Position

• 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or commercial relationship management, ideally within automotive, autonomous vehicle, mobility, or logistics/fleet industries
• Demonstrated track record negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts with a major partner or platform
• Strong executive presence and communication skills — comfortable representing the company to senior partner counterparts
• Sound commercial and legal judgment, with the ability to work closely with Legal and Finance on contract terms
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving, high-growth, sometimes ambiguous environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partner teams
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, Phoenix, or Miami

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience working with or alongside a major autonomous vehicle or robotics company
• Background in fleet operations, ride-hailing, or logistics-driven partnerships
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree
• Existing professional network within the autonomous vehicle or broader mobility industry
• Experience operating in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
