This is a highly visible, hands-on role offering the opportunity to work across property operations, facilities, capital projects, financial management, and tenant engagement.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial property management experience, a solid understanding of building systems and operations, and a service-oriented approach to tenant relationships. This individual will partner closely with internal teams, building engineers, contractors, and other third-party service providers to deliver an exceptional tenant experience while maintaining safe, efficient, and well-operated properties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee facilities maintenance, tenant improvement projects, and capital projects, ensuring work is completed according to established schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage and build strong relationships with third-party service providers, including building engineers, contractors, and other on-site vendors.
  • Partner with accounting and internal stakeholders on the financial performance of the portfolio, including financial reporting, operating expense reconciliations, rent collection, scheduled reporting requirements, and annual operating budgets.
  • Participate in the operational set-up and transition of new properties, including back-of-house operations, commissioning of major building equipment, and oversight of operations and engineering teams.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for tenants, proactively building relationships and responding to questions, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance building operations, service delivery, and the overall tenant experience.
  • Participate in tenant engagement initiatives, networking opportunities, and relevant real estate and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support the successful operation and continued improvement of the portfolio.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of commercial property management, facilities management, or related real estate experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial building operations, facilities management, and building systems.
  • Experience supporting properties throughout various stages of their lifecycle including development, commissioning, stabilization, and ongoing operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendors, contractors, building engineers, and service providers.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience supporting operating budgets, financial reporting, expense reconciliations, and other property-level financial activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop trusted relationships with tenants, colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with commercial real estate property management software preferred.
  • Experience with building management systems and other technical commercial building applications is preferred.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to operational excellence and tenant service.
