About the role:

Reporting to the Executive Director, Development, you will lead the INSEAD Fund as the primary engine for regular giving, participation and volunteer management.

A central focus of your role will be to significantly grow regular giving income and participation, moving beyond transactional campaigns to build a vibrant culture of philanthropy across the INSEAD alumni community. You will design strategies that convert engagement into sustained giving, increase frequency and value of gifts, and unlock new segments of donors globally.

You will bring a modern, forward-thinking approach, combining strategic thinking, creativity, and AI-enabled data management, to create highly personalised, insight-led fundraising programmes that drive measurable growth in both reach and revenue.

Core priorities:

  • Implement a regular giving programme: Develop and execute strategies to significantly grow recurring and annual donations, increasing both donor numbers and gift value of up to €10,000
  • Build a culture of giving: Design compelling donor journeys that encourage repeat giving, upgrades, and long-term loyalty, turning one-time donors into committed supporters
  • Unlock new audiences: Identify and activate under-engaged alumni segments through targeted, data-driven outreach and tailored value propositions
  • Leverage data: Apply advanced analytics and AI-powered segmentation to refine targeting, predict donor behaviour, and optimise conversion rates
  • Drive high-performing campaigns: Lead Giving Day, reunion fundraising, and global appeals with a strong focus on participation growth and donor acquisition
  • Optimise and align our global volunteer programme Ensure it operates as a structured, year-round growth lever that drives donor participation, supports targeted campaigns, and contributes directly to pipeline development
  • Lead and inspire: Develop a high-performing team with clear KPIs linked to growth, participation, and donor progression

The ideal candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced qualifications in philanthropy or related fields are an advantage
  • Significant experience (8+ years) in Annual Giving and fundraising campaigns.
  • Proven track record of growing donor participation, recurring giving programmes, and campaign income at scale
  • Strong expertise in data-driven fundraising, including segmentation, targeting, and donor lifecycle development
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI, digital tools, and analytics to drive measurable growth in fundraising outcomes
  • Experience leading teams and managing complex, multi-market stakeholder environments
  • A strategic thinker with a strong execution mindset and a focus on results
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills

At INSEAD, we are looking for leaders who embody:

  • Client Focus: You anticipate donor needs and translate them into meaningful, personalised engagement strategies, building long-term relationships and sustained giving behaviours
  • Growth Mindset: You challenge the status quo, experiment with new approaches, and continuously evolve strategies to unlock higher levels of donor engagement and giving performance

Kindly submit your application along with a CV in English.
