Your new role
As Director of AI Engineering Solutions, you will build, lead and scale Novo Nordisk’s AI Reinvent Product & Engineering capability. This is a senior technical leadership role where you’ll own AI-powered product delivery from use-case discovery and architecture through to production deployment and continuous improvement across commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, and enterprise operations.
You’ll sit at the intersection of advanced AI/GenAI engineering, strategic product thinking, and organisational leadership – leading high-performing squads while serving as the senior technical voice bridging our AI Foundation team and the business domains that depend on AI to create competitive advantage.

In Enterprise IT & Quality, you will be part of a business area that drives impact across the full Novo Nordisk value chain. We strive to stay close to our stakeholders in the business to ensure we deliver on their needs, helping reach millions of people living with serious chronic diseases. The Enterprise AI team develops and deploys scalable artificial intelligence solutions that improve business processes, decision-making, and customer experiences across the organisation. We collaborate with domain experts to translate business needs into production-ready models, ensure data governance and compliance, and maintain reliable MLOps pipelines for continuous improvement. The atmosphere is dynamic and fast-paced, fostering collaboration and innovation to drive impactful results with global reach across Novo Nordisk’s network.
Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a proven AI engineering leader who thrives at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic organisational leadership. You’ll bring with you:
Nice to have: Hands-on experience with fine-tuning workflows for domain-specific LLM alignment, familiarity with pharma-specific AI domains, experience with Databricks and Azure ML, knowledge of MCP server design, or published contributions to the AI/ML engineering community.
