HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
In this role, you will:
Develop and lead highly complex projects, creating mid-term plans that impact results.
Leverage relationships to meet the needs of the Global Business Unit/Global Operating Unit or Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit, serving as an advisor to others.
Make decisions in complex problems, identify innovative options and solutions, and recommend courses of action impacting the Global Business Unit/Global Operating Unit or Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit.
Act independently on self-initiated projects, leveraging knowledge from others and exercising judgment in complex decisions within the Global Business Unit/Global Operating Unit or Sub Business Unit/Sub Operating Unit.
Oversee and contribute to matrix project teams, including Digital functions, service providers, and external partners, to deliver business value and achieve objectives.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Application Support service providers to identify and enhance systems, processes, and services to meet service levels and ensure business continuity.
Influence and communicate complex ideas effectively using various tools and techniques to engage different audiences and stakeholders across the organization.
Review work for effectiveness of results, with contributions evaluated based on business impact, and review the work of other colleagues.
Serve as an advisor to others, leveraging relationships to meet the needs of the business units.
Ensure business continuity by collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance systems, processes, and services.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 8+ years of experience.
Proven track record in managing extensive technology projects or platforms from inception to value realization.
Deep comprehension of engineering, software development, and the technological management of solutions, tools, and platforms.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence key partners and stakeholders indirectly through clear, concise, and well-crafted messages tailored to the audience.
Experience in systems architecture, network systems, and application infrastructure.
Ability to develop strategies for a diverse portfolio of products and projects.
Expertise in fostering a culture of innovation to improve outcomes for patients and the healthcare industry.
Nice-to-Have
Master's degree with at least 7+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 5+ years of experience, OR a MD with 4+ years of experience.
Master's degree combined with relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
Experience in digital transformation and implementing innovative technology solutions.
Ability to build and leverage constructive relationships across the organization.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, to support problem solving and enhance productivity. Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
