Jackson and Coker is seeking a Director, AI and Data to lead our enterprise data, analytics, and AI capabilities. This role defines the strategy, governance, and delivery model that transforms fragmented data into a trusted, high‑impact business asset. This leader applies analytics and AI selectively—prioritizing only use cases that deliver measurable business value. What You’ll Do
Define and own the enterprise data and AI strategy, aligning capabilities to growth, efficiency, and customer experience goals.
Establish strong data governance (quality, definitions, ownership, lineage, security, and access) so leaders can trust the numbers.
Prioritize analytics and AI initiatives using business value, risk, cost, feasibility, and adoption readiness that demonstrate a measurable impact on productivity, quality, revenue, or cycle time.
Partner with Product and Enterprise Platforms on high‑value use cases that improve fill rates, productivity, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and workflow efficiency.
Oversee delivery of data pipelines, analytics layers, dashboards, and AI‑enabled solutions where appropriate.
Create a disciplined KPI and insight cadence to support decision‑making and validate business outcomes.
Enable self‑service analytics while preventing metric sprawl and inconsistent definitions.
Set standards for AI lifecycle management, including model monitoring, bias review, explainability, and retirement decisions.
Build and lead the talent model across BI, analytics, and architecture—setting clear priorities and performance expectations.
Partner with Architecture and Governance to ensure data and AI solutions are secure, scalable, and integrated.
What You’ll Bring
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in data, analytics, BI, and/or AI.
Proven experience building or modernizing enterprise data capabilities in a growth‑oriented organization.
Strong command of:
Data architecture, BI, analytics engineering, and governance.
KPI design tied to revenue, conversion, productivity, and service performance.
AI/ML fundamentals, responsible use, monitoring, and risk management.
Ability to challenge weak assumptions, poor metrics, and low‑value AI ideas.
Exceptional influence skills across sales, recruiting, finance, operations, and technology.
Clear communicator who can translate technical tradeoffs for business and executive audiences.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
