We are looking for a thoughtful and driven leader to guide a team of Project Managers and Agile Delivery Leads within our Canadian Personal and Business Banking Regulatory Technology portfolio
This role offers the opportunity to drive Agile delivery excellence and support the execution of regulatory and compliance initiatives. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation, while helping the organization embrace modern delivery practices and the thoughtful use of AI.
This is a hybrid role based in Toronto, with strong interaction across internal stakeholders and external vendor partners.
What You’ll Do
People Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and Agile Delivery Leads
Create an environment that promotes learning, growth, and delivery confidence
Support employee engagement and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture
Provide ongoing coaching, performance management, and career development support
Recognize and reward strong performance while addressing development needs
Program & Delivery Execution
Manage and enhance the Agile delivery program across the portfolio
Ensure strong execution of delivery initiatives, including governance, communications, and change management
Track program performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to improve outcomes
Contribute to program structuring, planning, and continuous process optimization
Support budget tracking and value realization activities
Data, Reporting & Insights
Analyze program data to generate insights and recommendations
Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track performance and progress
Use data-driven decision-making to improve delivery effectiveness and efficiency
Risk & Compliance Management
Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks
Escalate issues and concerns to senior leadership when appropriate
Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk frameworks
Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration
Collaborate with business, technology, and compliance stakeholders to deliver outcomes
Partner with vendor teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery
Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive program success
Agile & Transformation Support
Champion Agile, hybrid, and SDLC best practices across the team
Support transformation initiatives focused on new ways of working and operational efficiencies
Contribute to change management activities including planning, readiness, and sustainment
What You Bring
Experience & Education
7–10+ years of relevant experience in program delivery, technology, or related roles
Prior experience leading teams in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
Core Expertise
Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery methodologies
Program coordination, governance, and execution
Continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Vendor engagement and delivery oversight
Experience in regulatory or compliance environments (preferred)

Salary
$110,500.00 - $192,500.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.
Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
