About the Role

As our Area Director in Beatrice, you will report directly to the State Operations Director. You will be the champion of both business and programmatic excellence for your designated area. This dynamic, exempt leadership role empowers you to lead daily operations, manage budgets, nurture a dedicated team, and build meaningful partnerships within the community.

  • Champion High-Quality Care: Oversee personalized services, ensuring the unique needs of the individuals we serve are always met with dignity and excellence.
  • Be a Community Ambassador: Build vital local partnerships, engage in public speaking, and lead exciting local fundraising events to sustain our mission.
  • Ensure Operational Excellence: Monitor daily operations to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, all while staying within budget guidelines.
  • Foster Open Communication: Maintain transparent, supportive dialogue with your staff, the individuals we support, and their families or guardians.

Qualifications

What You Bring to the Team

We are looking for a visionary leader who is organized, adaptable, and deeply committed to advocacy.

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or a closely related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in a related field, with at least two of those years in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Financial & HR Savvy: Previous successful experience with budget management and human resources is highly preferred.
  • Leadership Qualities: Knowledge of personalized service delivery, a solid grasp of licensing/accreditation standards, and the ability to demonstrate Mosaic's 7 Essential Practices of Leadership
  • Mobility: The ability to travel extensively and a valid driver's license to drive as needed.
