Communication Leader will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing integrated communications strategies for our Power Transmission (PT) business line, including over 17 manufacturing and research sites, 8000+ employees worldwide. This role will lead internal and external communications, stakeholder engagement, change management and executive communications.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted communications advisor to business line leaders, helping advance business priorities and drive visibility across key external and internal audiences. This individual will work in close partnership with the PT Business line Leader, broader GE Vernova Communications teams, business stakeholders, and external agencies to deliver high-impact communications initiatives worldwide.
This role reports to PT Business Line Leader and functionally to the Elec Communications Leader.
Serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior leadership in the BL, providing counsel on messaging, positioning, audience engagement, and communications approach.
Partner with site leaders and functional leaders to distill complex priorities into clear, compelling messages for internal and external stakeholders.
Support senior leaders with messaging and communications materials for external speaking engagements, internal forums, and stakeholder interactions.
Develop and oversee the creation of high-quality communications content, including leadership briefings, speeches, talking points, case studies, articles, social media content, videos, podcasts, and infographics.
Develop and execute internal communications plans that keep employees informed, aligned, and engaged with PT strategy, PT new organization, priorities, and company culture, in collaboration with HR function.
Partner with leadership, HR, and local management to support communications around employee engagement, culture, recognition, inclusion, and community-related initiatives from sites worldwide.
Develop communications that foster connectivity, transparency, and a shared sense of purpose across teams.
Develop and execute integrated communications strategies and plans aligned with PT business objectives, growth priorities across our technologies, products and services in collaboration with our Marketing Leader.
Partner with the Electrification Communications and Marketing teams to support and drive global social media visibility, including product and technology storytelling, and amplification of key PT Marketing campaigns.
Build strong partnerships across manufacturing and R&D units, functional teams, and regional/global communications stakeholders to ensure aligned and effective communications execution.
Develop and track qualitative and quantitative metrics to assess both internal & external communications effectiveness and impact.
Continuously explore new channels, formats, and creative approaches to improve engagement and effectiveness.
For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $128 600 and $214 200 . The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
