The Direct Care Professional (DSP) Specialized is responsible for supporting and enhancing the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). A DSP Specialized should use counseling, mentoring, coaching, modeling, and other trained strategies to assist individuals in reaching their highest potentialThis role will support individuals with IDD, signs and symptoms of serious mental illness, Autism and/or medical conditions which some could be the underlying causes of behavior.
