We are currently seeking a Direct Support Professional II (DSP II) to join our Residential Services team.
As a DSP II, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing support, encouragement, and guidance as they work toward greater independence. You’ll help individuals build life skills, participate in their communities, pursue their goals, and experience the everyday successes that make life rewardingYou’ll also help create individualized goals, activities, and opportunities that promote personal growth, meaningful engagement, and an improved quality of life.

Job Responsibilities
- Plans, implements, and updates Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) using a person-centered approach focused on independent living, community inclusion, and participation.
- Assesses and evaluates individuals’ strengths, needs, abilities, and goals to support increased independence and meaningful participation in the community.
- Provides direct support and assistance to individuals in achieving their personal goals and developing daily living skills.
- Promotes independence by encouraging individuals to make choices, develop skills, and participate in community activities.
- Maintains accurate, timely, and complete service-related documentation, including progress notes.
- Communicates effectively with individuals, families, coworkers, and other members of the individual's support team.
- Follows agency policies, procedures, and applicable regulations while providing safe, respectful, and person-centered services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
We are currently recruiting for two Full-Time positions to fill our vacancies.
Available Shifts:
- Shift 1: Monday & Tuesday 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Wednesday- 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., Thursday- 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Friday- 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
- Shift 2: Monday 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., Tuesday 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Wednesday & Thursday 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., & Friday- 2:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Shift differentials are available for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.

Skills and Qualifications
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively and complete written documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- At least one year of work experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
DMV record must be submitted with application.
