Schedule

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM

  • Monday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Thursday: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Home and Community provides individualized support to people with disabilities, focusing on self-help, socialization, and independent living skills. Services are provided in the individual’s home and throughout their community, aligned with person-centered goals and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals in achieving goals through person-centered approaches

  • Maintain a balance between health and safety and individual independence

  • Assist with home and community-based activities that promote growth and engagement

  • Maintain professional relationships with families and team members

  • Attend team meetings and communicate regularly with supervisors

  • Complete all required trainings and comply with incident reporting standards

  • Use a smart device for documentation and communication as needed



Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience providing direct support to individuals with disabilities

  • Valid driver’s license and properly insured personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)

  • Must pass PA Act 33/34 and FBI clearances

  • Must have a smart device for work-related use

  • First Aid/CPR certification required within six months of start date
