What you’ll be doing

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Options For All, you’ll play a vital role in helping adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) achieve independence and thrive in their communities.

• Empower Your work will directly help clients achieve milestones, build confidence and enjoy fulfilling, independent lives.

• Advocate Champion the dignity and rights of individuals with disabilities by fostering inclusion and respect.

• Collaborate Work alongside a passionate group of professionals dedicated to making a positive difference in clients’ lives.

• Creating experiences Plan fun, engaging activities tailored to each client’s goals.

• Make Connections Build relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and community partners.

• Stay Safe Prioritize health and safety while offering the highest quality of care.

• Champion Goals Help clients meet their goals and celebrate their achievements every step of the way!

What we’re looking for

  Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must pass a background check.

• Experience

  • Previous experience in caregiving, social work, life skills coaching, as a teaching assistant or volunteering is a plus but not required.
• Skills:
  -
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • Adaptability to address individual’s needs with care and flexibility.
  • Basic tech skills (mobile phone use, email, Microsoft, electronic database systems)
