Job Location: East Main - Bergenfield, NJ 07621
Salary Range: $18.25 - $19.25 Hourly

Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Bergen County

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide on-site behavioral health care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The DSP plays a critical role in fostering a safe, therapeutic, and family-like environment where residents can thrive and achieve greater independence.
Current Open Shift:
Part Time – Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care
- Administer medication and document services
- Support medical appointment and community recreational activitiesMaintain a safe, structured, home-like environment
- Maintain documentation on significant behavioral changes and notable incidents
- Act as a liaison and advocate for individuals and their families, facilitating access to community resources
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations, EIHAB policies, and safety standards

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years related work or life experience
- Valid NJ Driver’s License with good driving record (3 years’ history)
- Must be 21+ years old
- Ability to complete required trainings (CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, etc.)
- Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and CARI check
