Job Description

  • Pay: $16–$17.75/hour
  • Schedule: Full-time with benefits
  • Holiday Pay: Time-and-a-half for holidays worked
  • Shifts: Varying day and night shifts
  • Locations: Multiple homes
  • Schedule Notice: Schedule provided one week in advance
  • Weekends: Three weekends per month required
  • Requirements: Valid driver’s license and one year of relevant experience

Sevita Health is hiring Floater Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across designated residential locations.

As a Floater DSP, you’ll work across multiple homes based on staffing needs, making flexibility, reliability, and dependable transportation important for success in this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide direct support and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Support individuals in their homes and communities.
  • Assist with meals, household activities, appointments, and recreational activities.
  • Encourage independence and skill development.
  • Complete required documentation.
  • Follow safety procedures and individual support plans.
  • Provide coverage across designated locations as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Dependable and compassionate individuals.
  • Comfortable working with different individuals, teams, and locations.
  • Flexible availability based on program needs.
  • Reliable transportation when travel between locations is required.
  • Previous caregiving, DSP, CNA, healthcare, behavioral health, or human services experience is required.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is required.
  • Ability to successfully complete required screening and training.
