Direct Support Professional (DSP) – WYOMING COUNTY

$18–$20/hour | Flexible Opportunities

Independent Home Health is hiring compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) throughout Wyoming County, PA.

As a DSP, you'll provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build independence, participate in their communities, and work toward personal goals.

We have opportunities that may include daytime, evening, and weekend hours depending on current client needs and your availability.

What You'll Do

Depending on the individual you're matched with, responsibilities may include:

• Supporting daily living skills and personal goals
• Providing companionship and encouragement
• Assisting with community activities and outings
• Helping individuals develop greater independence
• Providing transportation when required
• Following individualized support plans
• Completing required documentation
• Maintaining a safe and respectful environment

What We're Looking For

• Caring, patient, and dependable
• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks and clearances
• Comfortable working independently after required training is completed
• Strong communication and attendance
• Willingness to complete required DSP/ODP training

Previous DSP, caregiving, home care, behavioral health, or human services experience is helpful, but not required for every opportunity.

Schedule & Availability

Current opportunities vary throughout WYOMING COUNTY and may include:

• Weekday hours
• Evening hours
• Weekend hours
• Short recurring shifts
• Part-time schedules
• Opportunities for additional hours as they become available
