We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help empower individuals with disabilities to live more independent, meaningful, and fulfilling lives. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on assistance, emotional support, and community involvement while promoting dignity, respect, and personal choice every day.

What you will do as a Direct Support Professional (DSP):
Ultimately, the goal is to help the people you support, feel and become as independent as possible, while they live their daily lives. Among other things, you will:
- Support people with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, household routines, and community inclusion and engagement.
- Encourage choice, decision-making, and confidence in everyday activities.
- Assist individuals in developing life skills that promote greater independence.
- Build positive, respectful relationships based on dignity and person-centered support.
- Help create safe, inclusive, and supportive environments at home and in the community.
- Promote participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Follow and help to implement individualized support plans and document progress.
- Communicate effectively with families, team members, and other professionals to ensure consistent supports.
- Provide encouragement while respecting each person’s goals, preferences, and abilities.
- Ensure daily documentation and record keeping is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Comply with all applicable regulations, organizational policies, and procedures related to providing services and support to individuals with disabilities.

Minimum
QualificationsMinimum qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- No experience, don’t worry – we’ll train you!
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record preferred for day and swing positions
- Acceptable background check
