Direct Support Professional

We're hiring STNAs, CNAs, Medical Assistants, Home Health Aides, experienced DSPs, and caregivers to join our team.

Preferred experience includes:

  • Direct Care Experience
  • STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) / CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) background
  • Respiratory or medical support experience

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities while helping them live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in community outings and activities, including concerts, movies, swimming, shopping, and other recreational events
  • Building positive relationships with individuals and their families
  • Supporting daily routines and meaningful life experiences
  • Assisting with dressing and grooming
  • Meal preparation and feeding assistance
  • Providing toileting and personal hygiene support
  • Assisting with bathing and showering
  • Administering medications as trained and authorized
  • Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
  • Assisting with repositioning and mobility needs
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, changing linens, kitchen upkeep, and general housekeeping
  • Completing documentation and other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications:

To be successful as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you should have a passion for helping others and demonstrate compassion, patience, and empathy in your daily interactions.

Requirements:

  • Prior direct care, caregiving, and DSP experience preferred, but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical examination, and physical therapy assessment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
