Job Description

Ohel Children's Home and Family Services is seeking dedicated and responsible staff to work with individuals who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities living in supportive and loving residential settings in Teaneck. Substitute positions available.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting individuals with their activities of daily living
  • Accompanying individuals to medical appointments
  • Assisting with preparing and serving meals
  • Providing companionship while engaging in productive activities which help to foster independence and community engagement

Requirements:

  • Motivated candidate with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to relate to individuals promoting meaningful outcomes
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to speak and write English
  • Valid NY or NJ driver's license for some positions
