Job Description

Mazak Corporation is looking for a Direct Sales Account Manager to join the Western Sales team. Sales coverage of Idaho, Montana, Western Wyoming, and some of Northern Utah. Individuals will be responsible for selling machine tools and meeting required territory quota objectives set forth by the Direct Sales Manager or Regional General Manager.

Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Manage and direct the sale of machine tools to companies ranging from small job shops to large corporations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on the technical features, CNC control and options pertaining to all Mazak machines
• Prepare, deliver, and explain machine proposals.
• Directly negotiate the sale of machines
• Provide necessary post sale technical support as required
• Travel to and from customers as needed to conduct business.
• Attend local, regional, and national shows as required to assist in the promotion and sale of machines.

Education/Certification:
• Associates degree is required or 4 years of machine tool sales experience.

Skills:
• Must have experience with high precision machine tools and knowledge of the respective territory
• Experience with sales CRM such as Salesforce
• Must have strong computer skills and the ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations and use other Microsoft office products, such as, Excel, Word, Exchange, etc.
• Ability to prepare business communication and send email as required.
• General ability to read blueprint drawings, understand part geometry and interpret part tolerances.
