Job Overview

Level Up Talent Solutions is looking for a Direct Response Copywriter to support a growing

digital marketing team that specializes in lead generation, webinar promotion, funnels, ads, and

conversion-focused campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone who understands marketing and knows how to write persuasive

copy that drives action. The focus is not general content writing. The right candidate should be

able to write copy that encourages people to click, register, reply, book, attend, purchase, or

take the next step in a marketing funnel.

Responsibilities

  • Write direct response copy for social media ads, email campaigns, SMS, WhatsApp, and other marketing channels

  • Create persuasive scripts for VSLs, video ads, YouTube ads, and other conversion-focused video campaigns

  • Write copy that supports webinar promotions, lead generation campaigns, funnels, and client marketing initiatives

  • Understand the target audience, offer, pain points, objections, and desired action before writing copy

  • Collaborate with the Founder, Operations Manager, and internal marketing team to develop strong campaign messaging

  • Use AI tools such as Claude to improve research, ideation, drafting, editing, and copy refinement

  • Review campaign briefs, client notes, and marketing objectives to produce clear and compelling copy

  • Revise and improve copy based on feedback, performance insights, and team direction

  • Maintain organized tasks, updates, and copy deliverables through tools such as ClickUp,

  • Slack, email, and WhatsApp

  • Continuously improve copywriting skills through training resources, team guidance, and self-learning


Requirements


  • At least 1 year of experience in direct response copywriting, marketing copywriting, conversion copywriting, or a similar role

  • Strong understanding of persuasive copywriting and direct response marketing principles

  • Experience writing copy for ads, email, SMS, WhatsApp, landing pages, video scripts, or marketing funnels

  • Strong English writing skills with native or near-native proficiency

  • Able to write clear, compelling, and action-driven copy for B2C audiences

  • Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude or similar platforms to support writing and research

  • Organized and reliable when managing copy tasks, deadlines, revisions, and feedback

  • Able to work independently while collaborating with a marketing team

  • Open to training, feedback, and continuous improvement

  • Positive, proactive, humble, and willing to take ownership of assigned work

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing for coaching, SaaS, service-based businesses, or webinar campaigns

  • Experience writing VSLs, YouTube ads, video ad scripts, or sales funnel copy

  • B2B copywriting experience in addition to B2C experience

  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Slack, Claude, email, and WhatsApp

  • Experience working with marketing agencies or lead generation teams
