Job Description

  • Get requirement to initiate product concept that meet customer needs from marketing team.

  • Work closely with related team to develop and design product package, as well as lead the development of policy wording including claim trigger and process and obtain recommendations including approvals with relevant team and product committee governance until product submission to OIC.

  • Coordinate with research team to get market trend, product ideations including doing and analysis product comparison.

  • Work closely with working team to ensure that new product development is fully communicated of the development status, product priority, product concept, selling points, product competition, recommended distribution channels and underwriting guideline.

  • Manage the product development process to ensure that the product is successfully launched, and any product related issues are resolved within appropriate timeframe including monitor the new product that is matched with customer segment.

  • Work closely with marketing team in developing product plan for existing and new business partners including existing product package revamp.

  • Contribute to the improvement of customer centric and update market trend by working with research team on product design.

  • Present product concepts and details to business partners and related team.

  • Prepare and support other teams on new product package, product proposal, sale script, and policy documents including training session for the trainer.

  • identify opportunities for new products or on-shelf product improvement.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Insurance business, Statistics, or related fields.

  • Degree or appropriate professional qualification, with at least 3 years of experience in non-life product development, product marketing or A&H Insurance business.

  • Languages capability: Good command of English (both spoken and written)

  • Effective communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Service Mind to working with partner and other department.

  • Teamwork and emotional quotient.

  • High level of interpersonal skills at multiple levels.

  • Nonlife Insurance product knowledge and insurance regulations, and market trends.

    Strong blend of analytical, organizational, planning, decision-making, creative problem-solving skills, project management, stakeholder management.

    Insurance and business development experience considered a plus.
