We are seeking a high-performing intern to join our Direct Lending Team in Stockholm for a 3-6 months internship. This is a front-office investment role within one of the world’s leading private markets firms, offering direct exposure to senior investors and live credit transactions across the Nordic markets.
As an intern, you will work with other members of the European Direct Lending team and across the full investment lifecycle gaining hands-on exposure to credit investing.
Key Responsibilities
Support the financing of primarily sponsor backed investments including but not limited to:
Running financial models to assess leverage, cash flow generation, and downside protection.
Contribute to investment committee materials, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
Involvement in investment committee meetings, including minute taking.
Market mapping and pipeline building.
Assist with ad hoc projects across the portfolio.
We are looking for an intellectually curious, commercially minded candidate who thrives in an entrepreneurial, collaborative, high-performance environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Student or recent graduate from a top-tier university
Strong academic track record
Prior internship experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, corporate finance, restructuring, or credit investing preferred
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under time pressure
Self-starter with strong ownership mentality
