Job Description

The jobholder will have responsibility for Regional Product Management within the Direct Channels Team, with the potential to work across all the Direct Channels product suite.

The responsibilities include:

  • Definition and delivery of ongoing product developments in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Management of all product marketing and technical documentation.
  • Escalation point and end to end issue management.
  • Management of the Product P&L, including cost management and deal pricing.
  • Developing and managing relationships with key business partners (IT, Sales, Client Management amongst others).
  • Progressing the delivery of product developments as part of the Annual Technology Plan.
  • Providing subject matter expertise on all aspects of the Channels including, file formats (XML, SWIFT etc.) and connectivity solutions (internet, Connect:Enterprise, SWIFT etc.).
  • Responding proactively to any future industry, internal or strategic initiatives that may impact directly or indirectly the Direct Channels suite of products.

Special Requirements

The selected candidate should be able to demonstrate some of the following characteristics:

  • Good understanding of corporate/commercial banking, transaction banking in particular
  • Some knowledge of the Direct Channel products.
  • Strong understanding of customer business functions, with a focus on account payables, receivables and reconciliation needs.
  • Some experience in Product or/and Project Managements
  • Self-starter with strong analysis and problem solving skills, who can turn concepts into clear deliverables.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and work to tight deadlines
  • Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Numerate and able to interpret and work with financial data.
  • Intermediate English
  • Advanced Excel
