The Direct Care Worker position works with clients and their carers to achieve their identified goals, enhance independence, optimise quality of life and help them to continue to live their lives the way they choose.
The role provides support to clients in the areas of domestic assistance, respite care, personal care, in a respectful, flexible, and client-centred manner.
Direct Care Workers assist clients within their homes and in the community and will be working both autonomously and in a team environment.
Wedeliver services under the Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC PYP), Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), and Home Care Package (HCP) Services to assist eligible clients.
