Air Liquide France Industrie brings together the production and marketing of industrial gases in France with four complementary business lines : Large Industry, Industrial Merchant, Electronics and Hydrogen. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
As a Direct Buyer you will ensure the deployment of European and/or Regional category strategies and execute the sourcing process for local categories. You will manage significant spend and contribute directly to cost optimization and performance improvement within the organization.
Sourcing & Contract Management
Execute Sourcing: Apply sourcing strategy or develop your own for categories not managed by a Category Manager. You'll launch eRFx to pre-selected suppliers, analyze offers using a TCO approach, and facilitate the supplier selection process with requesters.
Negotiate & Contract: Prepare fact-based negotiations, define roles for Air Liquide stakeholders, select the final supplier, and negotiate supply contracts using pre validated templates from legal.
Implementation & Compliance: Promote preferred suppliers and contracts to internal customers and track successful implementation and contractual compliance locally. Manage actively contract updates, including price updates, volume rebate collection or other changes required.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
Manage relationships with external suppliers, including defining supplier future strategies, conducting business reviews and auditing financial stability
Risk & Performance: Contribute to supplier performance evaluation and risk identification/mitigation to ensure compliance with the risk mapping.
Qualification: Animate the supplier qualification and audit process in collaboration with Inspection teams, HSEQ, and Technical experts.
Stakeholder Management & Continuous Improvement
Develop and manage relationships with internal customers (Business Lines, Functions). Consolidate their feedback on category strategies and supplier performance.
Optimize Costs and create value: Lead working sessions with internal customers to identify TCO reduction opportunities and proactively organize workshops for further opportunities such as technical innovations and/or standardizations
Improve Processes: Identify opportunities for automating Purchase Orders (catalogs, Open PG etc.). Undertake corrective actions with suppliers and internal Clusters/Functions to improve performance and contract compliance including claim and non conformity management.
Reporting
Consolidate and present sourcing action plans to the management
Reporting and consolidating efficiency projects and ambition, using SRS savings project reporting tool
Make sure the claim database is updated and claims are managed

Background
Work Experience: 3/5 years experience in Procurement or a talented graduate with first relevant working experience gained and proven through internship
Education: A degree in an adequate discipline (e.g. Business or technical)
Language: Must be fluent in English and have very good knowledge of French.
