Key Responsibilities / Duties

  • Manage/oversee the APAC Real Estate Product Management Department (marketing support and client services), including the management and further development of the APAC Private Markets Product professionals.

  • Serve as the real estate product specialist for regional products. Coordinate and oversee all client, consultant, and prospect inquiries for information about IPM and direct real estate products.

  • Assist in the design and development of new co-mingled fund structures investing in direct APAC Real Estate.

  • Ensure that APAC Product Governance meets all required Invesco and regulatory standards.

  • Liaise with the Global Product team to ensure global consistency and co-ordination of client relationship management. Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners throughout the client base.

  • Support strategic planning process for all APAC co-mingled funds. Assist Client Portfolio Managers and/or Invesco sales team with prospect, client, and consultant relationships by providing appropriate follow-up materials

  • Participate in onsite existing client and prospect due diligence/update meetings, including preparation of material.

  • Direct the production and coordination of all direct real estate RFPs, working in conjunction with regional RfP teams and ensuring global continuity.

  • Oversee the client onboarding process for investing in direct real estate commingled funds, including working closely with regional AML/KYC teams and Onboarding teams, managing the provision of side letters through coordination with legal, compliance and escalate where necessary.

  • Manage client and prospects database, including but not limited to client information and prospect information. Oversee client information processing on Viaduct/Investran/Salesforce.

  • Coordinate relevant fund/business communications, quarterly/annual reporting inclusive of mass communications to real estate clients, consultants and prospects.

  • Organize quarterly investor calls, annual investor meetings and unitholder advisory committee meetings and administer the investor approvals and voting.

  • Coordinate investor transaction requests such as new commitments, top-ups, transfers, redemptions, distribution amendments, capital calls etc.

  • Ensure that investor information is correctly recorded in the systems, CRM tools and internal reports.

  • Coordinate changes to Fund documentation in conjunction with Legal.

  • Manage the investor bespoke reporting process and ensure timely delivery

  • Assist with education of Invesco personnel on Invesco Real Estate products.

  • Build effective working relationships with other internal departments; ensure all departments are kept informed and appraised of developments.

Work Experience / Knowledge

  • An understanding of the real estate industry, Invesco’s operations, institutional investors and the consultant community is recommended. 10 + years of experience in the industry is recommended.
