What you'll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments
- Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work
- Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
- Lead the execution of tax compliance and reporting for the Mexico Broker Dealer, ensuring adherence to local (SAT, CNBV, Banxico) and applicable international tax requirements
- Oversee the timely preparation and filing of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding, and other statutory returns, including review of workpapers, reconciliations, and controls
- Coordinate quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP tax reporting, including current and deferred tax, ETR drivers, and tax disclosures
- Provide practical tax guidance to the business on transactions and products, including derivatives, and escalate material risks or issues to senior Tax leadership

What you'll bring to the role:
- In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment
- Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities
- Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes
- Experience in Mexican tax compliance and regulatory requirements, including interaction with SAT, CNBV, and external auditors
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP tax reporting and legal entity tax disclosures
- Experience supporting tax audits, information requests, and controversy matters, including coordination with external advisors
- Ability to communicate complex tax topics clearly and provide practical, risk based recommendations to stakeholders
- At least 5 years relevant tax experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
