We're seeking someone to join our Regulatory Controllers' team as a Regulatory Capital Calculation Senior Controller in Finance Shared Services to prepare Capital and Risk Weighted Assets related internal management reporting and other financial analysis for Morgan Stanley's Business Units.
In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. What you'll do in the role:
- Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
- Responsible for and lead aspects of individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segments
- Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; proactively identify ways to reduce risk in work
- Act as a culture carrier; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and others accountable to Firm standards
- Oversee the execution of daily/ monthly / quarterly deliverables related to Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) calculation and analysis in Basel III/IV framework
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the team in supporting ad hoc regulatory requests
- Drive continuous engagement with various stakeholders in different regions to achieve results - collaborate across cultures and borders?
- Initiate and participate in process improvements, automation projects and innovation efforts? What you'll bring to the role:
- In-depth knowledge of Finance functional area, product and/or client segment and technical skills, as well as of industry and competitive environment
- Ability to operate independently with respect to most job responsibilities
- Ability to provide positive and constructive feedback and innovate processes
- Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent Economics, Finance or Business-related discipline; CFA/FRM qualification is a plus
- Min. 5 years of relevant experience in Risk/Business Analysis/Accounting, preferably in financial services industry (regulatory reporting, financial and product control, liquidity, treasury)
- Deep knowledge of financial products and regulatory capital framework (Basel III including Credit/Market Risks, Large Exposures, Leverage)
