The Director, GCS Portfolio Marketing Group is an individual contributor role within the Global Commercial Strategy organization, reporting to the Senior Director, Team Lead, GCS Portfolio Marketing Group. This role is responsible for executing high-quality portfolio marketing deliverables across GCS brands in support of the centralized execution model. This colleague will bring senior commercial judgment and serves as a mentor and quality anchor for Sr. Manager and Manager-level colleagues— helping to elevate team output and accelerate colleague development across the centralized model. In a transformed, AI-enabled GCS operating environment, this colleague will partner with brand leads, cross-functional teams, and centralized portfolio marketing colleagues to support brand execution across Core (brands reaching major LCM milestones) and Opportunistic (revenue & growth brands) brand categories.
The Director will focus on delivering core portfolio marketing outputs, supporting cross-brand execution needs, applying standardized tools and processes, and helping advance AI-enabled ways of working. This role is critical to enabling GCS to deliver consistent, efficient, and scalable commercial execution across the portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Portfolio Marketing Execution:
· Execute centralized portfolio marketing deliverables across assigned GCS brands and priority workstreams.
· Support content production, market research and ATU synthesis, congress and MedEd preparation, RWE compendia, training delivery, competitive intelligence, and related commercial execution activities.
· Translate brand priorities, market insights, and stakeholder input into clear, high-quality commercial outputs.
· Ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, strategically aligned, and fit-for-purpose for brand and stakeholder needs.
· Apply established templates, playbooks, tools, and ways of working to drive consistency across portfolio marketing outputs.
Brand and Stakeholder Partnership:
· Partner with GCS brand leads and cross-functional stakeholders to understand execution needs and deliver against agreed priorities.
· Support collaboration across US and International commercial teams to align executional outputs where appropriate and avoid duplication.
· Prepare materials, summaries, updates, and execution deliverables for brand discussions, operating reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
· Build trusted working relationships across brand teams, GCS Portfolio Marketing Group, and enabling functions.
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement:
· Identify opportunities to streamline execution processes, improve output quality, and reduce manual effort.
· Contribute to standardization of portfolio marketing tools, templates, and repeatable delivery models.
· Support adoption of AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve speed, consistency, and efficiency.
· Share learnings and best practices across centralized portfolio marketing colleagues.
AI-Enabled Ways of Working:
· Use AI-enabled tools to support content development, synthesis, analysis, workflow efficiency, and execution quality.
· Help embed AI-augmented approaches into day-to-day portfolio marketing delivery.
· Stay current on emerging tools and practices that can enhance commercial execution in a compliant and responsible way.
Talent Development & Team Excellence:
· Actively mentor and develop Senior Manager and Manager-level colleagues, providing structured guidance on execution quality, commercial craft, and cross-brand ways of working
· Support an apprenticeship model within the team by helping identify development opportunities, mentoring colleagues through cross-brand execution work, and building therapeutic area, lifecycle, and functional exposure that prepares colleagues for future brand-facing roles
· Contribute to post-project learnings to refine future brand rotations, delivery models, and AI tooling — helping build a continuously improving team
· Help showcase centralized resource-delivered work to GCS leadership to build team pride and set quality benchmarks
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
· 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, commercial execution, brand support, commercial operations, or related field.
· Strong understanding of pharmaceutical brand marketing across lifecycle stages, including launch, growth, LOE, and near-LOE.
· Experience developing or supporting commercial marketing deliverables across brands, functions, or geographies.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple execution priorities and deliver high-quality work in a matrixed environment.
· Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of commercial execution functions such as content production, market research, congress and MedEd support, RWE, competitive intelligence, and training delivery.
· Experience working with US and International commercial organizations.
· Experience supporting portfolio-level marketing execution or centralized commercial capabilities.
· Comfort working in an AI-enabled or AI-augmented environment; experience with AI tools in a commercial setting is a plus.
· Ability to translate complex inputs into clear, actionable, high-quality deliverables.
· Track record of improving execution processes, tools, templates, or ways of working.
· Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to evolving operating models.
· Discretion, sound judgment, and trustworthiness in handling confidential or sensitive organizational matters.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $162,900.00 to $271,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
