What you will be doing:

Supervise the QA activities of Taipei factory.

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Customer complaints reduction (Valid, Invalid, unknown) through corrective and preventive actions
  • Mantain and improve the Quality system, aligned with customer requirements, applicable specifications, and Corporate and Divisional procedures
  • Document Control management
  • Participate in a proactive and quality oriented way to New Product Introduction and process change management. Approve DV/PV and PCR as needed
  • Partecipate to DMDA and Maverick lots release (based on risk assessment) and related improvement
  • RoHs questionnaire for Taipei products
  • Drive the decrease of Assembly low yield (i.e. maverick) due to Wafer issues

Supervise the QA activities of the Diodes Front End Locations including the foundries.

The main responsibilities will be:

  • Customer complaints reduction (Valid; Invalid; Unknown)
  • Improve Maverick and MRB cases in Front End and also in Back End when related to Wafer/Die; Here is needed to put in place a close loop system to make sure that continuous improvement activities will be always in place
  • Improve LoD (line of defense) for Wafer FAB events
  • Improve Front End Quality System and harmonize within Diodes Division
  • Work closely with Back End, FA and Reliability to understand the products weakness and make sure that improvement actions will be defined
  • Work with Purchasing/Engineering to improve Suppliers performance
  • Drive look across within Front End factories
  • Pass Customer and third party Audits
  • Actively Participate to New Product Introduction and PCR to minimize the quality risk
  • Actively participate to EOS/EIPD teams and make sure that Front End Actions will be timely implemented.

The main measurable will be, respectively for Taipei and all Front End:

  • Meet customer complaints target (Total and Automotive)
  • Meet Final Response Cycle time for complaints
  • Pass Customer audits and external certifications
  • Meet Maverick/MRB targets
  • Minimize claims and RMA
  • Minimize issue on new product introduction and process changes

What you will bring along:

  • Graduated, preferably in Physics, Engineering, Material Science
  • 10+ years experience in Semiconductor field with automotive exposure, preferably in Wafer Fab (also operation and R&D)
  • 5+ years experience in QA Management Role
  • Good knowledge of English and experience in handling with multi ethnical organizations.
  • Available to travel around 25% of his time
  • Able to interact with customers (automotive and industrial) and higher level management
  • Capable to propose and drive Quality Improvement Projects
  • Able to influence others.
