Join us to spark curious, creative & confident children as Diploma Educator on our relief team - working across a group of our kindergartens in your area

  • 35 hours per week over 4 days - 8.75 hours per day from 8.00 am to 5.15 pm
  • Permanent position $34.28 per hour, with paid time off over term breaks
  • Enjoy the variety of agency work, with the support and friendships of being a permanent team member
  • Experienced and confident kindergarten educators needed
    • Position 1: Work in kindergartens in Tarneit, Point Cook, Mambourin, Footscray
    • Position 2: Work in kindergartens in Melton, Diggers Rest, Thornhill Park and Hillside

What will I do?

  • You will work across a group of kindergartens centred either in the Wyndham LGA or Melton LGA area
  • Your group of services will be no further than 30 minutes travel from your home
  • You will relieve Educators who are not able to work, ensuring that we do not have to close a session and disappoint our children and families.
  • Each morning the Relief Coordinator will advise you which service you will be working at that day
  • You will assist the Teacher in the session with the children, and in writing up observations, reflections and planning notes.

  • You are a diploma qualified kindergartenl Educator
  • You have extensive experience in sessional kinder, or the kinder room in long day care
  • You are skilled and confident working with children with additional needs
  • You will receive excellent references from your current and previous employers
  • People describe you as child-centred, dependable, confident, competent, positive and energetic
  • You love working with children, and are eager to work with different groups, educators and teachers
  • You are available to work from 8.00 am to 5.15 pm
  • You are able to travel to different kindergartens in your area, each morning

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
