Pay: $19.50 per hour

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Dining Services Supervisor to help lead our kitchen and dining services team at our York, PA facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with food service or culinary experience who enjoys working alongside a team, helping keep daily operations running smoothly, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

What You'll Do

As a Dining Services Supervisor, you'll help oversee the day-to-day operations of our dining services department while supporting a safe, clean, and positive dining experience for clients, visitors, and employees.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Help oversee daily dining services operations, including food preparation, meal service, and kitchen workflow.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to dining services staff.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, training, onboarding, and coaching.
  • Ensure meals are prepared and served according to approved menus, dietary requirements, food safety standards, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming kitchen and dining environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and purchasing as needed.
  • Support compliance with food safety, sanitation, infection control, workplace safety, licensing, and accreditation standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and address operational concerns as they arise.
  • Collaborate with facility leadership and clinical nutrition services to support client nutritional needs.
  • Help create a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in food service, culinary services, kitchen operations, or dining services required.
  • Experience in a healthcare facility, residential setting, restaurant, school, or similar environment is preferred.
  • Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience is a plus—but we welcome candidates who are ready to take the next step in their career.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and ability to work well as part of a team.
