Located in Portland, Maine, Cheverus High School is a Private Catholic College Preparatory School sponsored by the Society of Jesus. Our Dining Services Department serves 385 students plus staff daily.
Cheverus High School is accepting applications for part time Kitchen Staff for our school year dining program. This position is 5 days per week for 3-6 hours a day during the lunch hours.  Food service experience is preferred but not required.
Tuition Discount: This position qualifies for a dependent student tuition discount benefit of 25% during the first three years of employment and 50% thereafter.
Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 an hour
The job requirements are as follows:
- Operate all kitchen equipment
- Assist in food preparation and service
- Participate in cleanup of kitchen and cafeteria area
- Other duties as assigned
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Must be dependable with an excellent attendance record
- Valid Maine Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) through the Department of Education (DOE)
