Job Description

Dining Services ClerkThe Dining Service Clerk is responsible for the daily operations of the office, completing student timesheets, checking student schedules, and assisting and supporting the area in various projects and errands.

Provide Clerical Support

Answer phone calls and emails. Type, format, and file paperwork and log sheets. Maintain the daily tickler. Keep inventory of office supplies and order as needed.

Assist with Student Timesheets

Check student schedules each day. Approve student substitute worker requests as necessary. Track time and attendance of student workers and complete write-ups for infractions. Maintain a log of suspension shifts and infractions. Manage and submit student timesheets.

Assist with Department Projects

Assist department directors with routine and special projects. Assist staff, students, and guests as needed. Help with uniform check out/in for each semester and summer.

Complete Errands

Make deliveries or run errands when necessary. Complete the mail run during summer months.

Physical Requirements and Skills

Ability to lift 10+ pounds, Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time, Capable of Using Department-specific Software Applications, Microsoft Office, Operating Office Equipment, Sitting for long periods of time
