
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Dining Room Supervisor to join our team at Foothills Retirement Community. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that our residents receive high-quality dining services and experiences. You will be working closely with our kitchen staff, servers, and management team to ensure that our residents are satisfied with their dining experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee dining room operations and ensure that our residents receive prompt, courteous, and high-quality service
- Supervise and train dining room staff
- Ensure that dining room is properly set up and maintained, including tables, chairs, linens, and silverware
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Respond to resident concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that all menu items are prepared to our residents' satisfaction
- Assist with planning and executing special events, such as holiday dinners and themed dinners
Requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
