The Hotel Hershey is situated high atop the town of Hershey and has 326 guest rooms, including 19 Villas with 98 luxury sleeping rooms, as well as 25,000 square feet of meeting and function space. This position is responsible for coordinating dining reservations for all three restaurants and all special events. Further responsibilities include booking all groups that are not booked through conference services. The individual will also ensure that all menus are updated seasonally or when changes are made by the culinary team.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Ensure that all phones are answered as per Hotel Hershey standards.*

• Hire, train, and discipline all Dining Reservation Agents.*

• Schedule all Dining Reservation agents.*

• Be the point contact for all outside groups to correspond with them and return phone calls/ emails in a prompt manner.*

• Ensure that all restaurant menus are updated quarterly or as the culinary team makes changes.*

• Set up all special events in Open Table and ensure that team members know how to promote and sell all special events.*

• Communicate on a daily basis with restaurant managers any special needs, requests, etc.*

• Ensure that all limited menus are printed and ready for each meal period.*

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older.

• Previous reservations experience preferred.

• Must have a valid Drivers' License

• Completion of high school or GED

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

• Must have excellent math skills in order to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Fully understand the mission of each restaurant.
