Job Title: Reservations Agent

Job Department: Dining & Activities

Job Pay Rate: $17.00 - $19.00 / hour (it will depend on the level of training achieved)

Job Summary

As a Dining & Activities Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for handle Broadmoor high-end guest and Members itineraries, coordinating bespoke dining, spa, tennis, golf, transportation, and third-party activities while upholding our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond criteria. This role will be trained in all our areas outside of room reservations, training will be provided in phases beginning at Level I and will progress through Level III:

Skillset Level I: Dining Reservations

Skillset Level II: Dining, Tennis/Pickleball, Golf, Transportation, Third-Party Activities

Skillset Level III: Dining, Spa, Tennis/Pickleball, Golf, Transportation, Third-Party Activities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Food & Beverage outlets, including hours, dress codes, menus, seating availability, dietary restrictions, special events, and private cabanas. Process restaurant, afternoon tea, and in-room dining bookings.
  • Schedule and confirm specialized resort activities (such as golf, tennis, spa treatments, excursions, and third-party vendor experiences). Cross-check master guest itineraries for accuracy.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and chat messages promptly using luxury-aligned etiquette. Confirm final schedules via guest’s preferred communication channel (email, text, or phone).
  • Work directly with the Front Office, F&B outlets, Spa, and Sales teams to communicate special requests, VIP arrivals, and dietary needs.
  • Maintain strict data privacy standards, including PCI compliance for financial transactions and HIPAA adherence for spa/wellness records.
  • Attend departmental meetings as scheduled.
  • Input guest itineraries while cross-checking all reservations.
  • Ensure complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines, operational procedures, safety policies, and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).
  • Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoor’s history, estate grounds, wilderness properties, culinary offerings, and retail outlets.
  • Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required.

What we are looking for

  • One year from college or technical school.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, call center, front office, or reservations is highly preferred; however, an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional background will be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
  • Strong sales-oriented mindset, exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation and email communication, and familiarity with property management or reservation software.
  • A highly motivated team player who connects easily with colleagues and drives results through positive energy and seamless collaboration.
  • Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 50 lbs. with assistance and proper safety practices.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the calendar of events.
