  • Proven experience performing dimensional comparison studies (before/after material, tooling or process changes)
  • Strong statistical analysis capability (SPC, Cp/Cpk, trend analysis)
  • Advanced working knowledge of PolyWorks (alignment, scanning, deviation analysis)
  • Hands-on experience with dimensional measurement equipment (CMM programming & operation, 3D scanning, checking fixtures)
  • Experience measuring plastic injection parts (preferably automotive exterior components such as bumpers, trims, large injected parts)
  • Strong understanding of GD&T applied in production environments
  • Ability to independently analyze dimensional variation (shrinkage, warpage, tolerance shifts) and provide data-driven conclusions
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal ramp-up time
  • Strong interface capability between product, process and plant teams

  • Prepare structured, data-driven dimensional reports
  • Present findings to Project Managers and cross-functional teams to support convergence decisions
  • Support production convergence through statistical monitoring and dimensional tracking
  • Apply GD&T principles in real production validation scenarios
  • Support technical discussions regarding dimensional feasibility and process capability
  • Estimate dimensional validation workload (hours and effort) when required

Profile:

  • Dimensional Metrology Engineer – Plastic Injection
