We are looking for a skilled Programming Engineer proficient in C# and SQL to join our manufacturing team.In this role, you will develop and maintain software solutions that support manufacturing operations.Your focus will be on creating efficient, scalable, and robust applications that improve productivity, quality, and traceability across our manufacturing processes.
Our Team
You will join the Operational Excellence team and collaborate closely with manufacturing engineering, operations, and IT colleagues to deliver practical digital solutions for our manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
Design, develop, test, andmaintainsoftware applications using C# and the .NET framework.
Develop andoptimizeSQL queries and scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing engineering, operations, and IT, to understand requirements and implement solutions.
Create user-friendly interfaces and dashboards for monitoring and controlling manufacturing processes.
Ensure software solutions comply with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and usability.
Participate in code reviews andmaintainhigh standardsfor code quality, organization, and documentation.
Explore and implement AI-enabled solutions, including machine learning models, generative AI tools, and intelligent automation, to improve manufacturing productivity, quality, traceability, and decision-making.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience as a Programming Engineer, Software Developer, or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strongproficiencyin C# and the .NET framework.
Solid understanding of SQL and database management, including experienceoptimizingdatabase performance.
Experience developing user interfaces and data visualization tools for manufacturing operations.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communicationskills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
What Will Put You Ahead
Hands-on experience using C# and SQL in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with industrial protocols and communication standards, such as OPC UA and Modbus.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and software development best practices.
