This position is responsible for leading the MCS integration in MTH incorporating new functionality to maximize the production process and quality control including integrating solutions/technology from 3rd party applications.

What You Drive at DTNA

Lead the MCS integration in MTH incorporating new functionality to maximize production process and quality control including integrating solutions/technology from 3rd party applications. Evaluate current production processes for improvement opportunities through new technologies and equipment. Communicate with other technical members on the team as well as management. Analyze requirements, test, and integrate application components. Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented. Establish, maintain, and prioritize projects for the operations group through visual management. Coordinate all changes and launch new web platforms guided by corporate or locally. Collaborate with corporate IT on new technology that can work with productive processes in the plant and persuade others to prioritize the implementation. Ensure that off-site web and data platforms are deployed in such a way that they can be used to streamline local operational processes. Providing feedback and / or escalation in a timely manner to reduce costs and ensure implementation times. Document new demands or change requests in detail, including understanding requirements, objectives, and relevant context. Evaluate the feasibility, impact, and benefits of each request through technical analysis, resource assessment, and stakeholder consultation. Lead a small team of developers responsible for: providing application software development services typically in a defined project; developing program logic for new applications or analyzing and modifying logic in existing applications and improving software efficiency, performance, and stability; writing low-level and high-level code and reusable code for UI components; coding, testing, debugging, documenting and implementing software applications; designing and implementing scalable web services, applications, and APIs; creating Dashboards for communicating key operational metrics using modern BI tools; prioritizing requests to the backlog, ensuring they are well-documented; regularly reviewing the backlog with the team to plan and address high-priority items in a timely manner; ensuring continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) practices are followed to streamline the development process and maintain high-quality software standards; ensuring minimal downtime and proper support by implementing DTNA best practices for all local developed systems.

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or related field.
  • 4 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering or Operations Management.
  • Must have experience with each of the following: Writing Stored Procedures, Functions, and advanced queries to serve data; BI reporting platforms (Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, Webfocus, etc.); and PINpoint MES Software.
