Do you have proven skills in identifying, implementing, and managing digital change initiatives? Do you have the commercial acumen and operational experience to make astute decisions. Can you work effectively in handling conflicting priorities? Can you balance the need for innovation at pace with organisational and regulatory governance? Or are you working in a related domain with a desire to gain experience working in change and digital transformation at practice level?
If the answer is yes to any of those questions, this could be the opportunity for you.
We are looking for an individual who can bring a project management and pragmatic mindset to digital innovation within our Asset Technology practice. Working across our four Practices: Asset Information Technology, Networks and Drainage Solutions, Utility Land Information Solutions and Biosolids; this role sits predominantly in the water industry where there are opportunities for rapid digital enhancement to help the sector reach its aims.
In a practice where there are many opportunities for solution-level and discipline-level transformation, the successful candidate will collaborate across our leadership team, soliciting requirements and needs from our technical disciplines, and overseeing development and implementation. You’ll help steer the transformation strategy, capturing and quantifying the benefits of digital investments to inform resource plans and new commercial models.
You’ll gain a swift appreciation for the sector’s key challenges and steer efforts to solve them through innovative solutions. You’ll be expected to articulately convey strategic aims and projected benefits through clear investment cases to support the ongoing transformation journey.
You will be pivotal in enabling technical best practice, knowledge sharing and innovation. It is a role that brings together your ability to connect digital solutions to client challenges, underpinned by the technical expertise that sits within the practice. You’ll need to be a networker and collaborator and seek to develop strong relationships both internally and externally. You will be required to connect the dots between client need, delivery challenges, and technology-based solutions, drawing on our experts in the engineering field and technology specialists from across the organisation.
