We are looking for a Digital Systems Manager – GM Sourcing to join our Digital Product Development team in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Head of Digital Product Development (Global), this role plays a key part in shaping how digital sourcing platforms support General Merchandise operations across Kmart’s global supplier network. Acting as the functional lead for GM sourcing within the PLM ecosystem, you will work closely with sourcing leadership, technology teams and SaaS platform partners to deliver scalable, best-practice digital workflows.
You will translate complex sourcing requirements into digital capabilities that improve platform adoption, strengthen data integrity and drive operational efficiency across the product development and sourcing lifecycle.
Job Accountabilities
(1) PLM sourcing platform leadership
Own governance and optimisation of PLM sourcing processes across GM categories.
Ensure platform capabilities align with sourcing strategies, calendars and industry best practice.
(2) Requirements and stakeholder alignment
Partner with Sourcing, Buying, Planning and QA teams to identify business requirements.
Translate sourcing workflows into clear system specifications and improvement opportunities.
(3) Vendor collaboration and SaaS partnership
Act as the key operational contact for SaaS PLM vendors supporting GM sourcing.
Manage platform enhancements, issue escalation and roadmap input.
(4) Data governance and reporting
Maintain strong data accuracy across item setup, costing, lead times and compliance data.
Support sourcing reporting and insights to improve visibility of vendor performance and cost tracking.
(5) Change management and adoption
Lead training, change management and onboarding initiatives for sourcing teams.
Establish feedback loops to drive adoption and continuous improvement of digital sourcing tools.
Job Requirements
Must have
7–10 years’ experience in General Merchandise sourcing within large-scale retail or FMCG
Hands-on experience working with enterprise PLM sourcing platforms and digital sourcing workflows.
Strong understanding of sourcing processes including vendor onboarding, costing, RFQs and critical path management.
Experience translating business needs into system requirements and supporting UAT and system improvements.
Nice to have
Experience with PLM platforms such as Centric, Inspectorio or similar
Knowledge of PLM, ERP and supply chain platform integrations.
Experience partnering with SaaS vendors and cross-functional technology teams.
