About the role
As a Digital Solution
Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering digital solutions
that create business value across NNE.
We are currently evolving both
how we deliver digital solutions and how we work with solution architecture in
Global IT. This means you will not simply step into an established framework;
you will help define it.
You will be part of a team with
IT Project Managers and a Project Portfolio Manager, and you will work closely
with our Enterprise Architect and other architects to shape architecture
practices, standards, governance, and ways of working, while helping us
establish a consistent approach to solution design across projects and
technologies.
You will work closely with
business stakeholders, project managers, developers, platform teams, and
external partners to translate business needs into scalable and sustainable
solutions.
The role combines architecture, stakeholder
management, digital solution design, and strategic advisory work. You will be
involved from the earliest stages of an initiative through implementation and
handover, helping ensure solutions are practical, secure, scalable, and aligned
with long-term business needs

How you might spend your days
As a Digital Solution Architect in NNE, you will
turn business needs and project ideas into clear, scalable, and sustainable
digital solutions. Your days will include:
- Participating in early-stage idea qualification, feasibility assessments, effort estimation, and solutions option analysis
- Translating business requirements into practical and scalable solution designs for both smaller, fast-moving initiatives and larger, more complex projects
- Guiding build-versus-buy decisions and ensuring solutions align with enterprise architecture, security and governance requirements
- Reviewing vendor proposals and technical designs, as well as collaborating with vendors throughout design and implementation to ensure solutions align with architectural requirements
- Defining solution principles, architecture patterns, standards, and best practices that can be reused across projects
- Partnering with IT Project Managers to define solutions scope, risks, dependencies, timelines and technical deliverables

What you bring to the role
In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:
- Several years of experience working as a Solution Architect, Digital Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role and with a desire to hold a broader role
- Experience establishing architecture standards, governance, and design principles
- Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure), integrations, and enterprise applications
- Experience working with external vendors and implementation partners
- Proven ability to assess solution options, technical feasibility, and implementation approaches
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
