Salary: £49,140 - £55,000 per annum inclusive of London Weighting

Contractual Hours: 35 hours per week

Hours of Work/Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:15am – 5:00pm

Basis: Full -Time, Fixed Term for 2 years

About Us

Our Adult Skills Education Service is committed to helping learners build the skills, confidence and knowledge they need to succeed in today’s changing world.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Digital Skills Tutor Lead / IQA to join our team and play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality digital skills provision.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital education, quality improvement and learner success. You will help ensure our programmes remain engaging, relevant and aligned with industry needs, emerging technologies and awarding body requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of digital skills programmes.
  • Deliver at least one digital skills course while supporting high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Lead Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) across Data, Coding, Cybersecurity, AI and Essential Digital Skills programmes.
  • Monitor assessment quality, sampling, standardisation and compliance with awarding body requirements.
  • Support, coach and provide constructive feedback to tutors and assessors.
  • Monitor learner progress, achievement and outcomes, using data to drive improvement.
  • Keep curriculum content current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Coordinate quality records, audits and external quality assurance activity.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be

  • An experienced digital skills educator with strong knowledge of Data Analytics, Coding, Cybersecurity, AI and digital technologies
  • Qualified to teach, with a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experienced in quality assurance, assessment, standardisation and curriculum development.
  • Confident using digital learning platforms and educational technology.
  • A strong communicator who can coach and support colleagues to achieve excellence.
  • Passionate about adult learning, learner success and continuous improvement.
  • Organised, creative and able to use data and evidence to improve outcomes.
