Digital Search and Localization Analyst

We’re looking for a Digital Search and Localization Analyst to join our Digital Channels Insight team and strengthen our global digital presence. You’ll lead search optimization and localization initiatives, driving holistic and strategic SEO while ensuring content resonates across languages. You’ll also coordinate translation and localization workflows, aligning digital content with local market needs to maximize engagement. Through ongoing auditing, you’ll enhance search visibility and uncover opportunities for continuous improvement. Working with cross-functional teams, you’ll align search optimization and localization efforts with broader digital goals, driving organic growth and delivering content that effectively engages our audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Drive organic traffic growth through on-page, off-page, and technical optimization strategies.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research, site audits, and performance analysis for search visibility improvements.
• Monitor search performance metrics to identify and resolve indexing and crawling issues.
• Collaborate with content and development teams to apply search optimization best practices and implement fixes.
• Support technical projects, coordinate backlink tracking, and manage keyword performance analysis.
• Coordinate translations and localization efforts to support multi-language content and global audience engagement.
• Ensure localized content aligns with local market needs and resonates across languages.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities through ongoing analysis of search and localization performance.

Qualifications and experience

• 5+ years of experience in relevant field, requiring both technical expertise and advanced analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of search algorithms, ranking factors, and international optimization practices.
• Proficiency with relevant tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple optimization projects.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and implementing search optimization best practices across localized content.
• Experience in the iGaming industry is highly valued.
• Experience with localization workflows or multi-language content management is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Our headquarters are located in Helsinki, Finland but the position can be located in any Veikkaus location. We work flexibly in a hybrid model. The position is permanent and full-time.
