Job Description

We are looking for a Digital Regulation Specialist (m/f) for our Airbus Commercial business to reinforce our Digital Regulatory Legal Affairs department based in Madrid, Spain.

You will be part of an international team composed of digital regulatory in-house counsels and managers and DPOs, in charge of supporting the implementation of Airbus privacy, artificial intelligence and data act compliance programs.

You will be involved in supporting Airbus business organizations in their compliance with digital compliance requirements in their day-to-day operations aiming at ensuring the highest level of digital ethics and compliance for the group.

Your main mission

  • Review and assess Airbus' personal data processing, AI system mapping and ensure an up-to-date regulatory records
  • Launch, support and validate any required digital regulation (e.g. privacy, AI, etc) risk assessments
  • Contribute in the setting up or update of any relevant internal digital regulation policies, processes and associated documentation and tools
  • Provide legal guidance on emerging regulations to ensure technological innovation is balanced with legal certainty.
  • Support contractual negotiations on digital regulation terms
  • Manage personal data breaches and data subject request in coordination with any relevant business functions/affiliates
  • Perform digital regulation audits
  • Prepare and deliver training on digital regulation for employees

Your Boarding Pass:

  • Experience in an international context on privacy law, data governance, digital regulation
  • Proven appetency for digital and innovation. Knowledge in IT and AI technologies is a clear differentiator.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt communication to different audiences, vulgarize and transfer knowledge.
  • You are autonomous and a good team player.
  • Education: Advanced university degree in Law (Master 2/LL.M. in ICT Law, Digital Law, Intellectual Property Law, Business Law with a digital specialization, or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Digital Regulatory Lawyer/Specialist, gained within a law firm or a large international group, ideally in a regulated sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent command of the GDPR and European/French digital regulations (DSA, DMA, AI Act, NIS2, etc.). Knowledge of international regulations would be an advantage.
  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in both English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
