Job Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise and people technology solutions across the Group, combining hands-on digital project management. The role is accountable for translating business and P&C requirements into workable system designs, driving delivery through internal teams and third-party partners, and ensuring solutions go live on time, within budget, and are properly supported afterwards.

Project and Programme Delivery

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of user-centred digital and enterprise projects across restaurant operations, corporate functions and sales channels, ensuring each project is delivered within the agreed scope, schedule and budget.
  • Maintain the integrated project plan, deployment plan and cutover plan, tracking progress against milestones and driving the project team and vendors to agreed deadlines.
  • Manage multi-market and multi-phase rollouts (e.g. Hong Kong and Macau), ensuring one unified solution design is maintained across markets while accommodating agreed local, statutory and operational differences.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources across DTS, P&C, Operations and implementation partners, ensuring accountabilities are clear and dependencies are managed.

Business Requirements, Process and Solution Design

  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, challenge and document requirements for restaurant operations, HR processes, and internal Enterprise Solutions.
  • Convert business thinking into structured, visualisable deliverables — system workflows, business process maps, RACI and governance structures, and clear functional specifications.
  • Develop and review business requirement documents to keep operations, P&C and the digital team aligned, and to enable seamless collaboration with other technology cross-functional teams.
  • Define and maintain the boundary between systems, identifying gaps against the agreed project scope and raising them early.
  • Own integration design and interface requirements between core HR, recruitment, rostering, time and attendance, e-signature and payroll systems, including specification of the data to be exchanged and the party responsible for each interface.

Testing, Data Migration and Cutover

  • Plan and manage all testing activities — test plans, test cases and test scripts, tester assignment, coverage and sign-off — across Web, App, POS and enterprise platforms.
  • Run SIT and UAT cycles: schedule sessions, brief business testers, maintain the defect and issues log, chase fixes with vendors, and keep business users and sponsors informed of progress and readiness.
  • Manage historical and master data preparation, submission, import and validation, tracking completion by data batch and resolving discrepancies with the data owners.
  • Own the cutover, rollback and contingency plans, including data freeze arrangements, integration switch-over, production validation and go / no-go readiness criteria.
  • Plan and coordinate train-the-trainer and end-user training, user communications and reference materials ahead of go-live.

Vendor, Contract and Budget Management

  • Manage implementation partners, system integrators and product vendors day to day: scope, deliverables, quality of fixes, service levels and escalation.
  • Review, challenge and negotiate change requests, effort estimates and service fees; maintain the contingency log and ensure charges are supported by agreed scope.
  • Support contract administration — master agreements, statements of work, change requests and payment milestones — and maintain the project document repository.
  • Track project financials against budget and forecast, and prepare inputs for finance and management reporting.

Governance, Risk and Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare and deliver steering committee and management updates covering overall status, progress against key deliverables, and key risks and issues by workstream.
  • Identify, assess, mitigate and escalate risks and issues across all projects, providing alternative or workaround solutions where needed to protect delivery.
  • Set and enforce clear deadlines for vendor analysis, resolution and proposals, prioritising issues by business impact.
  • Apply proper access control and risk management over system administration rights, ensuring sensitive data is only accessible to authorised users and that administrator accounts are handed over and documented.

Post Go-Live Support and Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and run the hypercare and support model after go-live, including support rosters, issue triage, priority definitions and vendor response commitments.
  • Provide system support and functional guidance on Enterprise Solutions, working with stakeholders to resolve technical needs and drive continuous system improvement.
  • Analyse recurring incidents (e.g. access, data synchronisation or interface failures), agree permanent fixes with vendors, and feed enhancements into the product roadmap.
  • Support reporting and analytics needs, including management dashboards and operational reports.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties and handle special projects as assigned by management to support overall business and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • 4-6 years of project management experience in digital, enterprise or HR technology delivery, including at least one full end-to-end implementation of a sizeable enterprise system.
  • Proven experience delivering or supporting HR / people technology platforms (e.g. PeopleSoft, ServiceNow HRSD, Avature); experience with D365 or similar ERP platforms is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of core HR and payroll processes — recruitment and onboarding, movement, leave and attendance, payroll calculation and statutory compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience managing external implementation partners and vendors, including scope, change requests, effort estimation and fee negotiation.
  • Strong track record in project scoping, planning, risk management, analytical thinking and problem-solving, with the ability to multitask across concurrent projects and markets.
  • Experience preparing and presenting status updates to senior management or a steering committee.
  • Experience with data migration, testing management and post go-live support; data reporting experience (e.g. Power BI) is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential; proficiency in Mandarin is considered a plus, given the multi-market scope.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with in-house teams, remote teams across markets, and third-party vendors.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
