Job Description

Role Purpose

To handle and arrange new projects once data collection, research and analysis are executed, as well active research to design new projects and to prepare and present new ideas to improve current processes which impact the business, in addition to be responsible for providing regular update reports to ensure things are kept on track (including budget tracking, benchmarking and milestone monitoring) within set KPI’s, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.

Key Activities

Project Management

• Manage project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
• Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
• Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
• Ensure project deadlines are met and escalate the non-compliance items
• Determine and highlight project changes and action plan accordingly
• Lead a portfolio of project and program management services (project and program analysis, project and program execution, project, and program delivery) for the ITOT department
• Supervise manage project and program budget and cost, resource allocation, and reallocations
• Prioritize programs and projects based on changing functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies
• Communicate status of the project and program portfolio to relevant stakeholders
• Keep the defined and the document of project scope, project targets/objectives to translate desired business benefits into clear and achievable project objectives
• Manage the scope for improvement in strategic project management processes such as (Infrastructure services projects, service delivery processes, etc.) and project performance, drawing out lessons learned and recommends changes where necessary, ensure motivation and a drive for excellence are built in the project management and delivery
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
• Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
• Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective

Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT.
• Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office applications
• Working knowledge of applicable laws and standards in the industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional research and reporting skills
• Knowledge of project analysis in a related field

Education and Certifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field is required
