A Digital Product Manager takes ownership of overall product success at a global Castrol level, focusing on understanding customer needs and seeing opportunities to significantly improve its experience and resulting value. This role involves defining product strategy, crafting a compelling vision, and driving the product lifecycle from concept to launch and scaling. Teamwork is key, working closely with engineers, designers, and business partners to deliver impactful solutions. The role requires a detailed approach to evaluating outcomes, ensuring alignment with bp’s financial, operational, and customer strategies. As a hands-on contributor, the Product Manager handles day-to-day accountability and performance management to achieve product success.

Product Manager is proficient in applying core product management principles to achieve business and customer goals. They play an active role in developing customer-centric products, leveraging data and user insights to refine strategies and guide decision-making. Responsibilities include handling technical and operational processes, defining product requirements, addressing mid-level challenges independently, and performance handle delivery of business and customer value. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is emphasized, ensuring alignment and prioritization between business strategies and product outcomes. Their ability to balance customer needs, data insights, and operational excellence is evident in their contributions.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and articulate the product vision and strategy aligned to Castrol objectives.

  • Creation and prioritize product roadmap and backlog using data, customer insights, and commercial impact.

  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories.

  • Attend regular stand ups with the delivery squad to ensure alignment, priorities the backlog, unblock the team, and maintain momentum toward product goals.

  • Supervise performance through defined targets and continuously optimize the product.

  • Ensure timely, high-quality product releases and post-launch support.

  • Lead product performance reviews with business partners and communicate progress to leadership and partners.

  • Creation of Financial Memorandum’s including cost and benefit analysis as needed to justify product investments and guide decision making.

  • Identify and articulate business value, maintain reasonable ROI of digital investment of new user stories.

  • Be Accountable of user experience including UI/UX & wireframe build co-working with designer.

  • Attend weekly product reviews (WPRs) with Technology cross functional teams to celebrate feature launches, surface risks and blockers early to drive resolution or issue as needed.
